"All Terrain Monster"

Powered by a 1.6L Honda engine, tranny, transaxle.  Slick. Its a transver design, mounted longitudinally so the transaxle is powering front and rear instead of left and right.

There were lots of Jeeps, and us.

Bob, from Pennsylvania, getting air.

Windrock is full of mineral riches.

One of the abandoned mining cars

Long way down.

This yellow rig came within a millimeter of rolling.  It lifted the uphill drivers side tires off the ground and sat motionless at the balance point for what seemed forever, then flopped back down rightside up.

Al separated his front driveshaft, so we had no choice but to winch. Note the driveshaft.  Its not broken, just separated. Why is that guy under that Toyota?  Surely that's not a broken Toyota....

The only damage of the day. Saturday morning.  Robert Fuller's is the red one. More Jeeps.

All of these pics are trail 39.

This guy was open, and had to be winched. This is Gary Parson, SFWDA VP.  He had to winch.

This is Robert Fuller, just a few seconds before he tried to run me over. Robert got traction here, and didnt stop till he hit the rock just to the lower left of this photo. Al made it up without winching.

This guy broke an axle joint here.

This was a 4 cyl Diesel ranger.  It made lots of noise and black smoke, but still broke.

There's now 17 windmills....used to be 3. This is one of the new ones.  Note Al standing near the base.  Note also the original 3 white ones in the background to the right. The things are HUGE.

This is the circa 1950s abandoned radar base. Its being used for cell towers and such. steam pipes

Some kind of masonry chimney. This appeared to be some kind of steam generating facility.
